I know what you'd like to believe but we will see what happens to the markets when it sees closure of the election. I say we will see 500 off the lows in a few days (NASDAQ) and the lows will hold. You can beat me up on this if I'm wrong. I don't care...

Jim,

Lets see what happens but this sounds so much like the discussions I had or did not have with people on the AMD thread back in June when AMD's 2001 EPS estimates were coming in lower than those for 2000. People were trying to blame the stock's problems on some external factor when the reality was and continues to be: no investor wants to buy into a tech stock where the future looks less promising than the present. The result was that we saw AMD drop from $90 to $20.

That same process is now going on throughout the Naz. Like I said earlier, when the election issues are resolved, the markets will bounce but just like with the rallies right now...the Naz can't go anywhere because sequential growth is not expected next year for many of the tech stocks....and without greater growth, the Naz and its stocks are dead in the water.
