The reality is that both the Polls and statements by many prominent Democrats, show Gore is losing a significant part of his own support. Bush is not.



You couldn't be more incorrect. The latest polls show Gore and Bush support falls evenly split along party lines. About 49% of the country is behind either candidate.

Bush should offer to hold a celebratory occasion, like a smash mouth concert or something, for his victory. Then maybe there would be some support to finish this circus. As it is, there is no reason not to just watch and wait. Baker can't sit on those ballots forever.
