The Republicans have a world class loser of their own, and we may have to live with him for the next four years if Gore backs down. Scumbria- Agreed. My dislike of Gore is not balanced by any affection for Bush. His conduct during all this recount stuff is only marginally better than Gore's. His position that Gore needed to wait until after the certification of Florida's votes to protest the election and his subsequent criticism of Gore for doing exactly that lost Bush some moral high ground. It is interesting to note that in spite of the hatred on these boards for Gore, there is not much enthusiasm for Bush either. What a choice we had this year. Frank
