Petz, Re: convertible I think it would be the best use of cash, especially now when the stock price is depressed and the premium is low. I wonder if AMD has authority to buy back the convertible on open market or if they have to go through a formal offer. I think the timing is perfect this week. AMD could by just a fraction say 50 or 100 million, and after the trade settles, they could issue a press release informing of the purchase and of the corresponding reduction of shares (which will result in adjustment of estimated EPS).
