OT I said, "Only the Democrats have been saying that Florida voters are 'confused' and 'weak'." in response to the attempt by Al Gore to get a revote on that basis. I think it is always a good idea to make the voting machines more foolproof for voting and for counting the votes. This is hopefully not a partisan issue. This is not the same as saying that voters are so confused and so unable to punch a chad that we need to have a new election.

I hope your comment that "20,000 votes are usually discarded by the Secretary of State, from each Democratic County, each election, due to the use of older machines." is not intended to show that Democrats are the only ones who are capable of being confused so the election was unfair. Are votes only discarded in "Democratic Counties" by the Republican Secretary of State <G>?
