Individual stocks that were affected by Fidelity's massive selling would have had to be in tremendous demand to resist the effects of that selloff: they were not.

To the extent that Fidelity, and other large houses, have taken part in the sector rotation, one would have expected the NASDAQ decline. OTOH, one would have also expected a major increase in the DJI - and that has not happened.

This argues that other factors are at play, here.

So, I derive a certain amount of pleasure seeing the large players gut a significant portion of the market, only to find that no one is following their lead. They are losing money as a result of their improvident twitchiness.
