Another long lost twin? You mean I'm triplets??!! I just found my other alter ego a couple of years back. HE took the path I would have gone if I hadn't gone computer but rather, optical. We quickly became very good friends. My friend, works for LLNL in the diffractive optics group. We hike all over the place locally, talking about this stuff. Our wives even share the same hobbies and interests. Weird. Now that is the kind of resonance which keeps me humble and not quite sure there isn't "something more" (whatever that means). I have a couple of books on NNs. I have one edited by Clifford Lau by IEEE Press which is very good. I'm also interested in chaos. The text called Applied Chaos Theory is very good but not as mathematical as I thought it might be. More of a conceptual overview.
