Goutama, there was a news item yesterday about Intel having difficulty with their stock investmensts. I've followed with interest your posts about the stock sales that Intel has reported. I'm wondering whether Intel is in danger of having to report an $ X00,000,000 realized loss this quarter like Gateway just did. Could that be a reason for Intel being so weak today?

I think Gateway said they lost $200M on investments and, amazingly, that number is larger than the value of their investment portfolio on October 1. In other words, they made a big gamble and lost.

At this point in time, is it even possible for Intel to come up with their predicted amount of capital gains for Q4?
