Actually Bush Sr. was pro-Choice before he joined Reagan.
And Bush Jr's language about abortion is vague. He'll sighn partial-birth but that's all. Still if he appoints conservative justices they may end up challenging choice which would be disaster for the republican party. Nobody is pro-abortion. But choice is a right now which women value. Just in case. cheney is against abortions even in the event of rape or incest. I think that's hideously sexist especially because Cheney is no pious saint. He only gave 1& to charity last year. My dad gives 10%, for instance. Tithing is a christian tradition. 1% is just plain selfish and cold.
