That is the safe thing to do and unwind long positions, it was a very nice day until about 1:30pm. It is always best to take profits then hold and watch stocks go down. I wouldn't go short just because you never know what the weekend will bring with the Presidential election. There could be some news that might have a big affect on the market on Monday.

This rally screws up that call. I dunno if you should go long or short. Cash is safest.
