Chip Value Continues Downward Trend
December 1, 2000 (SEOUL) -- International prices of 64Mb DRAMs are on a continuous downward spiral.



According to industry watchers commenting on Nov. 30, the value of benchmark PC-100 type 64Mb SDRAM chips fell to US$3.72-3.92 per unit, while the price of PC-133 type 64Mb SDRAMs stood at US$3.83-4.06 per chip, down by 1.33 percent and 1.79 percent, respectively, from the previous session.

Meanwhile, the value of next-generation PC-133 type 128Mb SDRAMs remained stable at US$7.75-8.22 per unit, while prices of PC-100 type 128Mb SDRAMs remained unchanged at US$7.40-7.84 per chip.
