rallies sold is right...made some nice cake shorting in the afternoon. Even shorted CAKE...just for fun.

The lows of october broken in november makes this decline look similar to 1929. Curbs prevent the big one day drop but we are following the pattern pretty good.

The dow to 2 years to complete the decline started in 1929...90% decline in the end...that would put Nasdaq at 500-600 in 2002. I think we could see it...I'm very confident that 1500 will be seen. And I would say that a test of 1000 will come by the end of 2001.

p.s. I guess SI Bob gave me a break...I didn't know that you couldn't post private messages that people send you. Is that a real SI policy?...if it is, it seems silly...Someone sends me a rude private message I should be able to repost if I like. I never asked them to send me it.

ot Monty, I sold 1/2 of everything again today (though I sold 100% of AVNX and SCMR) lowering my averages. I am back to about 75% cash. It appeared that the market REALLY wants to rally for most of the day. I really wonder if the political events are having intraday effects on the markets.

CSCO is not volatile enough right now to take either a long position or short position in.

Did you short JNPR at the bottom?

Monty,

I love how Goldman Sachs sends out Abby to pump the market up and they sell right into it.

ART-bot> SP: 2:23:00 PM -- update They pull us back in...the volume has
picked up as apparently people are not looking to go home long into the
weekend. The lead seller has been Gsachs...Locals are very aggressive in
pressing this trade to the downside right now. 1st support is 1317-1315
