FA,

Sorry for the late response. I have been away from the computer.

I meant it showed technical buy signals.

ITWO showed technical buy signals on the 5 minute chart, specifically Williams %R and OBV turned up (early signals), and this was quickly followed by a stochastic crossover confirmation. At that time, MACD had not yet signalled, and as it turned out, never did (until somewhat later in the session):

The situation with BRCD was very similar, and like ITWO, MACD did not confirm the early buy signals until the afternoon:

These were long signals, not short.

I'm hoping these (or others on my short list) will continue to move upwards to their descending 10 and 20 day moving averages, at which time I'll look to re-short at the first sign of technical and chart weakness, assuming the Naz does not begin a countertrend rally. I like to go long or short in accordance with the underlying market trend, so I would only re-short these if the market trend (QQQ or COMPX) was also showing technical and chart weakness at its moving averages. But, if for example COMPX blew right past the previous peak (i.e., short-term resistance) on good volume and strong technicals, I'd start looking at long positions mostly.

Regards,

Walkingshadow
