Ariba has proved that their MODEL totally sucks.
How can you lose 450 Million dollars in 9 months and say that your model works.



Actually, Ariba's model is working very well. A lot of money is going into R & D but they are conservative in their accounting. The losses are somewaht overstated rather than understated due to the amount of deferred revenue they booked and the fact it is a liability.
