One problem with Bluetooth glasses, beyond the merely technical obstacles of making them work at all <g> is that Bluetooth has a maximum data transmission rate of 750 Kbps more or less and won't support the higher bandwidth needed for decent color depth at decent resolution. Looks like Bluetooth II is needed already.

An unappreciated aspect of Microvision's MEMs retinal scanner is that it is planned eventually to be able to sample (extract positional, focus, and other information from) the retina as well as perform a ±raster scan of an image onto the retina. This may enable "stare and double-blink" to supplant "point and (double)click," and may ace the security issue by yielding a positive ID from the retinal vasculature.

And why stop at the retina, when there's the rest of the world out there? Why stop at mono video when there's stereo?

(Long MVIS for three years now).
