Third-Eye... no offense but did you derive your handle from "Third Eye Blind"? Because it would seem quite appropo given your apparent belief that no one in Florida ever received their citizenship through this manipulation by the INS and democratic party. And you would be foolish to ignore the fact that it apparently occurred again during this election, as reports were discussing several months ago. Now I don't care how people vote when they become citizens. That's for them to decide. But I DO CARE when the US Taxpayer is having their pockets picked by EITHER party for the purpose of increasing their voting rosters. Especially when, in doing so, they allow convicted felons to obtained citizenship against federal law. My point was NOT just with regard to Florida. It about corruption by either party and the seeming unwillingness by liberals to feel any outrage. When the party in power plays Santa Claus with taxpayer funds in order to entice someone to vote for them on such a massive scale, someone has to be upset. So if you're unwilling to share that outrage, then that's your problem. This is a nation of laws, not a nation of exceptions. When those laws are no longer applied equally, or are massively subverted to the advantage of one special interest or party, we risk setting precedents that will make every law relative in its form and its execution. And when laws are "relatively" written, people will "relatively" follow them whenever it suits them . And when obeyance of laws doesn't suit them, that will be okay too, because they know they can always have their lawyers argue how an exception was made in the past, thus making them entitled to that same exception. This is CERTAINLY more than about Florida's laws...
