And, just this past election, because of IRRELEVANT and intentionally destructive garbage like this, I got involved for the first time in politics. I suspect I'm not alone. Watch out in '02. You guys have gone too far.

You're not alone. I know lots more as well.

We are mad as hell, and we are not gonna take it anymore! A giant has finally awakened. It has taken 8 long years, but now the dems must beware our fury.

<<Watch out in '02. You guys have gone too far.>>

I agree 100%. I have never before seen Repubs protesting
on street corners in my city. Now they are doing it
everyday @ 4:00PM @ a major intersection. My mom who is a
Dem asked me if my wife and I were really going to a party
this weekend. She thought she might be watching our son so
we could go and protest. VBG I think the backlash against
the Dems will be bad in '02. Especially if BUSH tries to
heal and the Dems continue to attack.

"even us sensitive moderate Republicans who for a long time have been ticket-splitters. This election, for me, it was straight Republican"

You are smarter than me. After Bill C's gave us the largest tax increase, I voted straight Repub for a while. This year, unfortunately, because the NRA supported him, I voted for a dem for the house, . Last night he was on the radio pumping the Gore line. I called him to voice my displeasure. Our district and state voted overwhelmingly for Bush and I realize we did not elect someone who represents our views. It's back to straight Republican from now on. Thank you Mr Gore.

COUNT THE FRIGGIN BALLOTS

This is a test, are the ballots counted yet? Not yet! Don't worry, they will be.
