my guess is they will go suddenly, the way INTC did. most are already looking toppy, and the ones that are active in riskier areas of credit will likely be the first ones to have something bad to say.
it is quite amazing that they have held up as well as they have, and i suppose the reason is that fund managers are chasing them on the misguided belief that you must buy banks when t-bond rates come down. no-one stops to consider yet what a recession will do to their assets.
FNM requires patience...but i have no doubt that it will eventually suffer too.
