. I can't find anyone who wants the OAK framing. Dried for over 100 years. It's too hard to work with. Nails bend. I hate to see that old oak burned. Now that would make some GOOD furniture.

If nothing else will rouse Gaugie from his hibernation, that ought to do it.

You might consider getting in touch with some interior designers in Chicago--old barn wood is a premium flooring material in high end renovations, and for the right project, they could use your framing for structures featuring exposed beams. Could net you a pretty penny.
