Just curious, what Demolib did the NRA support? I'm surprised. Congressman Chris John, Louisiana, 7th District. Perhaps not a Demolib, to be fair, but definitely a Democrat.

what Demolib did the NRA support? Some years ago, in WA, the NRA endorsed Tom Foley and Jolene Unsoeld, a super liberal twit. Those two came from rural districts where they had to pay lip service to the Second Amendment. That's when I dropped membership. NRA types, in my experience, are the kind of people I like to live in the midst of. Unhappily, many are so concentrated on the single issue of gun ownership that they've forgotten the fundamental reasons why we ought be a well-armed people.
