That COT report is different than the one I usually use. Am I reading that right!!! Small speculators are 70K short and now the large speculators are only 9K short? In other words they are both about 50/50 ad the swing of the largest shorts are the small guy? I must be reading that wrong. dawgfan - Maybe BA has it's stuff together now but if we are indeed experiencing a recessionary environment or worse yet, a stagflationary situation, it will hurt the big companies like BA the worst. Thus that is why I am watching them and CAT carefully. Also, you state that the workers are doing lots of overtime. That isn't good for quality work nor wage pressures. I will have to get out my phone book and do some calling around. Lots of us old B-52 types end up there after retirement. Paul, your targets sound like they have the same dilemma as some of mine. You DOW and NASDAQ targets seem reasonable but a 1200 SPX would mean that we have to go much lower on those other indexes. I was targeting 1274 myself and thought that was too low unless the DOW over shot a bit. I am looking for 1274 SPX, 2250 NASDAQ, and 9600 DOW before looking at today's movement on my charts and using only my failing memory of my charts from last night. <gggggggg> Last on the Gore thing and the Supreme court case. My understanding is if the supremes rule against Bush, it opens the door for more lawsuits pushing for more recounts by the Gore camp. If Bush wins, the election is over with no hope of recounting and recounting and recounting and......... Good Luck, Lee
