Interesting that the Republicans don't mind asking for a recount when they see an undervote in a close election - if the election is against them.

SANTA FE, New Mexico (CNN) -- State elections officials on Tuesday issued a conditional
certification of Democrat Al Gore as winner over Republican George W. Bush in New Mexico's
presidential contest, pending a final review of disputed ballots in one county.

The three-member State Canvassing Board signed a
document naming Gore the winner over Bush by a
483-vote margin, but said certification would not
take effect until Thursday after a judge in Roosevelt
County can review the status of 570 disputed
ballots that were not counted for either candidate.

Republicans said the 10% "undervote" was "significantly higher" than in other New Mexico
counties and asked for another check.

Was the recount by machine alone, or did the canvassing boards examine the undervote?

What was the final percentage margin of victory?

10000 uncounted ballots- 10000 ballots that have never been counted---
How do they KNOW there are 10000 uncounted ballots if they haven't been counted? Why is it that every Democrat knows this and no Republican knows about it?
Sometimes these are called disputed ballots. Pick up any off the stack. Who has disputed that ballot when it hasn't been counted? How can you dispute an unmarked ballot.?
Why does it take five people at least ten seconds to count each ballot? Are they mathematically disadvantaged. Why do they have three people making little marks on paper as each ballot is counted.? After three days of making marks does some poor secretary count all the little marks and do they all add up the same?
Ballots are Public records- accessible to anyone.
Suuuuuuuuuuuure they are. To anyone who can highjack a Ryder truck travelling at 65 mph between two police cars
or open a locked box in a guarded room in the basement of the Tallahasee courthouse
Why do they want to count just these particular ballots?
Because they could change the election results. Then why not count over 20000 uncounted ballots from another county-
would they not change the election results?
Recounting any 1000 ballots out the 6+ million in Florida would change the election results.
But nooooooooooooooooooo, there must be something very peculiar about those Miami Dade votes.
