Why would the Chinese (or anyone) be accumulating stocks at these prices? I read somewhere that China has just built 15,000 mi of new freeways/expressways, so maybe that explains the jump in demand.

Besides which, why would OPEC allow prices to get that low again?

I think these analysts are hoping that oil prices will come down so that they can stop looking silly.
