True, but I don't expect them to say any thing about their capital gains other than reporting the status of Intel Capital in their earnings report. They still have a chance to make this quarter guidance of making about $760Millions in investment gains.

I'll guess that Intel will delay as long as possible in hope that tech stocks recover. They may be get lucky.>

If you are referring to Intel will delay selling their positions to realize gains - I would say that's what exactly they are doing now. I haven't seen any reports of them selling any of the positions since Nov 17. So far they are way behind in meeting their guidance. Here are the transactions they did so far -

gains of about $64.3 * 0.8 = $51Millions. There are only about 20
more trading days left for Intel to realize gains of about $709M
to meet its guidance of invetment gains for this quarter.
