I really consider that one to be a total and complete no-brainer.

Clarence Thomas shouldn't have been put on the United States Supreme Court because he's a no-brainer. Frankly, I don't care what his sexual perversions entail. But for Republican committee members to have tried to tear apart Anita Hill and legitimize Thomas was one of the biggest jokes of the second half of the 20th Century.

What an embarrassment Thomas is to the United States Supreme Court. I may disagree with conservative legal positions. But Thomas is a disgrace. Rehnquist, O'Connor, Souter, and Scalia are at least intellectuals who try to rationalize conservative opinions. I respect that.
