maui_dude, >agree with you, that the rapid sales of laptop has tremendous significance.< Anecdotal evidence that laptops are gaining: I bought one even though I have an acceptable desktop pc. Turns out I use the laptop 90% of the time, even though I don't travel [retired, stay-at-home]. I wouldn't have bought a laptop a year ago because of high cost. Another thing I like is the much lower power consumption. With rising energy costs, this may well become a consideration. Gottfried
