Emotion is a strange beast. I have learned that when taking a loss on a trade to not dwell on it. Move on to the next trade. I have found that dwelling on it seems to shake the psyche and is self defeating. The more I worry about it, the more anxious I become, the more I second guess my decisions, and it spirals down hill from there. This is where discipline pays off by sticking to your rules. However, it's easier said than done.
