Lance, RB and Yahoo are just spamville. Seems that some idiots have software that finds new postings and then they place their spam as a reply. It's getting so bad that the spammers are spamming themselves. Fee based SI inhibits the spam that steals message board resources and time from legitimate posters. Hooray for SI!

SI has considered having one or two "..rolling-drum forums.." for the "..goin'-to-da-moon.." posters - a format like BobZ.

That wouldn't be too bad, as the hoopla would all go over there - as opposed to being spread board by board. A few "....whooopeee..." safety-valve posts never hurt anybody, as long as it's out in the back yard and behind the shed, so to speak. And, after one rotation (FIFO) the posts dissappear.

SI could simply limit "..freebie membership.." postings to only the rolling drum forums, and thereby garner some more ad revenue from the increased head count - without messing up the whole system (..like RavingFullOfIt..) for all those who have paid the freight.

BobZ is 90%+ entertainment - but, occasionally a good runner is pointed out. Sorta like having a boisterous Disco in your town, but not necessarily in your neighborhood..... :-)

John :-)
