There is a Provincial county office adjacent to my office here in Montreal. Over the last ten years I have become good friends with the people that work there. One of the functions of this office, is to help the constituents of the local politician with all sorts of problems. They help residents to file pension applications, they help others who've had their electric power shut off due to unpaid bills, they help the needy get in touch with community services to obtain food baskets and on occasion they are approached by child molesters who seek their intervention for the return of their children who've been removed from their custody by Child Protection Services (obviously, no help is given in those cases). Over the years I have also personally witnessed and discussed county cases, in confidence, with friends in that office of women who've had 7,8,9 children from different men simply for the purpose of increasing their welfare checks. (As recently as 3 yrs ago, the Provincial govn't, in a screwed-up effort to increase the population, was rewarding mothers with thousands of dollars per child after the third birth.) And I have also witnessed women who've requested the intervention of the riding office because social services was refusing to pay for their 6th abortion. The point of all this, KM, is that any reasonable person such as yourself would be in disbelief of the absurdities and pretentions invoked by "unreasonable" people. And from my experience, such absurdities are not solely from people with IQs of 20. Cheers, Vince
