Noisy bus puts brakes on Micron PC

MicronPC.com has pushed out the expected ship date of one of its two new Millennia Max Xp PC models because of a noisy motherboard problem.

The PC is based on Advanced Micro Devices Inc.'s (NYSE:AMD - news) new 760 chip set, which offers either a 200MHz or a 266MHz front side bus. (The bus provides a data pipeline between the processor and memory subsystem.)........The PC features a 1.2GHz Athlon chip, 266MHz bus and 266MHz Double Data Rate Synchronous Dynamic RAM (PC 2100 memory).
