well the cool thing about the IHL - was the guys had some hopes and dreams of moving up to the NHL. So it was fun to track their careers and see what happened to them. We actually had a fellow who had been thrown on the scrap heap after his hands sustained too many injuries, was playing in a beer league for fun, was picked up by the Dragons, was scouted by a rep from an NHL team here to see one of the younger guys, and went on to win the Stanley Cup with his new NHL team. THAT was soooooooooo fantastic ! the stuff dreams are made of .....
