you know Po, I started to poo-poo Bernie when I began reading this - I mean a 20 month MA... give me a break... BUT..... there continue to be some disturbing factors in play.

as long as we have high levels of margin in the mkt, we continue to be in grave danger. for a real education on the true dangers of margin , do not miss Daffodil's margin thread. we are not talking about daytraders with accounts worth < 50k. no - our true danger comes from company officers with large amounts of their company stock being margined - and can be sold out with a mkt order anytime their bank calls their loans due. it is truly frightening.
