At this point the lawsuits in Seminole and Martin counties are important less for their own merits, than they are as a leveler of the playing field. Once Baker got Bush certified then his best plan is to stall, stall, stall. One way to get Baker back to acting reasonable is to pull the certification and these lawsuits are intended to have that effect.

The best settlement is of course a full and fair accounting of the ballots throughout Florida.

Well of course he would. All would never claim to back ALL the suits brought by his Democrat minions, would he? Oh, I forgot, that's just what his lawyer essentially said, I believe, WEDNESDAY THE 8th of NOV.
