HE DOESN'T WANT TO COUNT ALL THE VOTES; HE WOULD COUNT ONLY THE VOTES FOR HIM if he could get away with it. If he wanted to count ALL the votes, he would have asked for a recount of the entire state, not just heavily Democratic counties. And he would not have tried to exclude as many absentee and military votes as possible. << No one is hand picking precincts here. No one is even hand picking counties. >> See above. << Bush has had several cuts at the pie, but has failed to ask for any recounts. >> WRONG. He had one. He had to ask for a recount within a short period of time following the election. Gore's "offers" of recounts were bogus; they would commit the State of Florida to nothing. << The Florida Supreme Court even offered Bush the opportunity to recount in counties, >> I don't remember hearing that. Can you provide corroboration? And there is another issue here with the recounts. At least in the areas where Gore has asked for recounts, it appears the almost exclusively Democratic canvassing boards are in the business of "manufacturing" votes through "determination of voter intent". For this reason, there is a general Republican distrust of any recounts in those areas. Remember, that Republican "mob" in Miami-Dade was "rioting" to protest an attempt by the local canvassing board to go off by itself away from scrutiny and "count the ballots". When it became clear that they would not be allowed to operate that way- -that they would have to operate in the public eye- -they gave their entire recount effort. Very suspicious from the Republican point of view. And the Democratic characterization of that incident as a riot is slanderous from the Republican point of view. There were police there before, during, and after the incident; yet no one was arrested. No one was injured. Nothing was broken or destroyed. Yet it was a riot.
