There were some contingencies being thrown around on meet the press either last week or the week before.

If Florida's electors were excluded and the electoral college majority were recalculated based on exclusion of Florida, Gore would win with his current electoral total.

So another strategy could be...

Count none of the votes

Must of been a mistake by him to choose 3 predominantly Dem districts to recount
No accident. You seem to think that Gore is supposed to act like Mother Theresa and Pollyanna combined. That still does not alter the fact that a full and accurate recount will probably show Gore as the victor.
