There are plenty of dollars. In fact, many economies have adopted US currency as official or unofficial tender, which soaks up what might otherwise create inflation. What moves the market is leverage, leverage up when it rallies, and leverage down when it falls. The more dollars the more dramatic the moves. Last year it was leverage up when the Fed cut rates. There is plenty of cash to borrow. Just ask your broker for a margin loan. But right now the brokers are collecting their margin calls. And wealth is created when the market rallies, then the created wealth is leveraged. Don't worry, if the market starts a rally you will see a tidal wave of cash flooding the market.
