Peter and thread,

I, too, just returned from one of the largest Verizon stores in metro NJ, with the purchase of two KYO 2023s as gifts for family members. The sales managers indicated that the Q/K 2023s had been selling like crazy, more than 20x the rate of Nokia 5158i. In the 4 weeks since they started promoting the KYO phones, only a fewer (one or two) were returned.

He also added that, despite the widely publicized deal between Nokia and Verizon, V has no immediate plans to add any new Nokia phones in the foreseeable future. In the meantime, Nokia 5158i will just slowly phase out on its own.

Just thought I'd share the above anecdote with Q investors.
