Gore has NOT been asking for a complete recount from the beginning.
In the beginning he asked for a typical partial recount. You wouldn't expect him to run his campaign and Bush's too?
That doesn't mean that a complete recount is not a good idea, and one that would be supported by Gore. Gore is not the one with something to hide here.
