Amadeus, obviously you've only caught the tale end of this conversation...hence you're out of sync. In my view this election is over, Bush won and Gore hasn't stopped whining yet. My posting was meant more as to how it should be, not that it is legal to do now for the Nov. 7 election.

As for dimpled chads, it was proven to me today from watching the court proceedings that only clean punched holes in the ballots should be allowed. No attempt should be made to determine intent in the absence of a cleanly punched hole. The instruction to remove chads are printed right on the voting machines. They call the chads "chips", but a few weeks ago few of us knew what a chad was.
