the trouble for Gore is that he was given his chance by the SC, said that he would abide by the deadline, has not and has subsequently gone right back to the same well.

Actually, that deadline from the Florida SC was for the recount. The recounts were not completed, the certification was handed down by Katherine Harris.

The process is now in the period of contesting the election. This is a new, different process with its own new timetable and deadline.
