I'm really surprised they didn't include a requirement for birth certificate

Yeah, you'd think they'd ask for something as basic as proof of citizenship or a birth certificate.

But that's the beauty of the "Motor Voter" law, and the reason that Bush Sr. vetoed it several times during his presidency (catching unholy hell, as I recall, from the liberals).

But you can see why the liberals wanted such a law. It makes stuffing the ballot box incredibly easy for them.

Like I said before... can you imagine being a US citizen who is permitted to vote in a foreign election?

The bottom line is that when the republicans ask for some form of control over voter registration merely to assure that only properly entitled people are permitted to vote, they are labeled "Fascists" and "Racists" by the liberals.

But this is OUR country, yours and mine, and it should be left for citizens to decide who will be elected as the leader of it.

Call me a reactionary... Call me a Fascist... Call me what you will, but if someone can't see the essential common sense in such regulations, then I would suggest they have a very superficial perspective on the entire voting process.

Regards,

Ron
