T. Plummet reports Consolidated Silver Tusk Mines has advised shareholders that the civil case between the company and its Indonesian partners ended in April, 2002. The district court of Tanjung Karang concluded that the mineral operations agreement dated November, 1999, between (i) Consolidated Silver Tusk Mines; (ii) P.T. Karya Bukit Utama; (iii) P.T. Gading Emas Minerind; and (iv) PT Metro Astatama, is valid and binding. The court's decision has been appealed by the defendants M. Nut, president of Karya Bukit Utama, and Yusuf Sabario, president of PT Metro Astatama. The company is now proceeding with a criminal case against the above defendants. The appeal process will begin within 30 days, and the company expects this process to last a minimum of 90 days. Directors and shareholders contributed funds towards the civil case proceedings. The company is now considering selling some of its assets in order to proceed with the above appeal and the criminal case, and also to complete the financial statements for the years 2000 and 2001, in order to meet the B.C.
