It seems that EMC's new line, that will compete with NTAP's line, is being perceived as a very formidable threat to NTAP. This, on top of the high valuation of NTAP's stock, make me question the bouncabillity of NTAP in the short run. enjoying the dialogue here, just observing NTAP at this point, haven't bot back. larry

Stefano, I'm not sure if EMC's numbers represent higher selling prices, or in fact are even accurate. I seem to remember NTAP disputing those market share figures(EMC's, not IDC's) fairly recently

One issue is what EMC claims to be NAS isn't true NAS; it's just an NAS accessory for Symmetrix.
