Doc, they weren't election workers. They were Bush Campaign operatives! Two of 'em, one whose disappeared. They had access to the entire county's datebanks and the chief election officers files, keys, tools, codes and whatnot.

I agree. Nothing interesting about election workers in an election office.

But it's highly unusual, extremely suspect and, as James Baker was so fond of say, an open door, indeed an open office, for mischief on the part of the Bush campaign operatives.

You don't have problems with this? You should. Somebody's gotta care about this, 'cause Ambassador-elect/Secretary of State Katherine Harris didn't seem to mind. And what's worse, the same thing happened in Martin County!
