Hi g,

I know a lot of people don't believe this but I actually feel sort of sad for most of my detractors. Almost anyone that knows me, knows how much I treasure a stress free and happy life. It is my contention that the cutting down of others with obvious disdain and the stress involved with such is non-compatible with the life that I fortunately live.

I find that most people that spend a great deal of their time trying to bring someone else down are doing so as result of many factors but for the most part fall basically into the following categories:

1. They are in all probability experiencing severe financial difficulty.

2. Their health is probably not that good.

3. They generally suffer from a bad self image.

4. Are basically socially insecure and need a support group.

5. Last and certainly one of the most striking is they have generally faced a lot of rejection or abandonment in their lives.

So with the above in mind, it is just tough on my part to really hold any ill will toward them, it is a heck of a lot less stressful to have feelings for them and their situation.

All can rebuke and mock my Angels but my Angels demand certain things from me and one is compassion. Compassion is one reason I came to SI in the first place, to try and combat a lot of the fear that is spread intentionally or unintentionally.

Volts, giving thanks for everything he has in life and feeling for those that do not.

Have you noticed how they seem to completely ignore any negative sentiment Voltaire said regarding stocks or the market? Same for comments about risk. How about his disclaimers or SI's disclaimers for that matter? etc., etc., etc. Hmmmm.... a very selective & specific review of his words 'eh?

Let's not forget the lies, distortions, mis-statements & intentional deceit woven into the malicious personal attacks as well. Sort of looks like they will resort to any means necessary to denigrate others.

However, you post makes an excellent point. Well said.
