You must be referring to Miami-Dade. Once the board did the sample and decided it didn't want to count, at the time the difference between the two candidates was 327. Since the percentage sample would, under those conditions made a difference, the Gore Campaign had no alternative but to thread court action in order to get Miami-Dade to count.

Miami-Dade should complete its hand recount. Why not let 'em?
