What you say is ture, but I still don't like it because I think a lot of good companies are being put under unnecessary stress. The real dot come losers were going to loose regardless. Personally, I like the idea that companies can float stocks and let the little guy take risks. We're all adults.

When Greenspan learned about bear markets, the only companies allowed to take risks were monopolies that could bury risk into big fat monopolistic budgets. They were often too stupid to find a way to market with anything.

I see the actions he takes have potential motives, perhaps geared toward restoring the old order. IMHO
