Fact: Gore offered to manually re-count the entire state of Florida when he knew it was illegal to do so. The laws of the state of Florida were clear at this point, and would not have allowed a full recount. This isn't a touch football game where the teams can change the rules as they go along. Only a partisan Democrat union payed hack would believe otherwise. Slade Gordon lost fair and square. Cantwell spending 10 or more million dollars in a scare campaign seems to have worked. You won't see Slade Gordon whining to the courts for more and more manual recounts, even though the margin of error was nearly the same as the Gore-Bush margin in Florida. Republicans have class.
