I am also looking at shorting EMC (I used to own a ton). If it fails to break 80 in the next couple days and/or it pierces it (on the downside) on strong volume after the announcement on Tuesday....Take a look at the chart, but I think it must go back to at least 70...A clear pattern of a broadening top, and lower highs and lower lows.. ORCL...After Larry Ellison hyped things last week at CSFB, I figure it has shot its wad....I believe it is getting its butt kicked by SEBL and ITWO now, and its growth is no longer stellar....confirmation, I suppose, of a lack of technical strength in the short-term would be a failure at 28; the 3rd failure in 3 or 4 sessions.....If so, I believe it will quickly resume its down channel, and hit at least 20 on the next trip down....Any thoughts? BTW- If NTAP goes up tomorrow and rechallenges 60 and fails, I would add that to the list to look at.. Any treads you favor for shorting ideas? TIA...
