You're too kind Tom. I do try to think through the spin and look at the objective evidence before us. We all have our biases and preconceived assumptions. How we handle them in order to come to conclusion, is the tough thing. I don't really think it's debatable that Gore chose those counties because he knew they would offer him a way in which to find more votes percentage wise than the entire state would find. My assumption is that someone on Gore's team understands basic statistics, and how they can be manipulated to reach a desirable end. Of course, that was before witnessing team Gore's statistician today. I may have to re-visit my assumption after that pathetic performance. :) Notice how the press has quietly stopped saying "Bush signed a law in Texas which supports manual recounts over electronic recounts"? The word has no doubt spread to the lazy reporters who take every word team Gore says as gospel truth.
